A MAN has been charged with stealing £2,000 worth of belongings, including Army medals, during a break-in.

George Warlow is alleged to have burgled a house in Bramble Close, Havant, in May.

The 45-year-old, of Hurstbourne Close, Havant, did not enter a plea when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He is accused of stealing jewellery and three digital cameras, along with the medals.

Warlow was remanded in custody to appear back before the magistrates next month when the case is due to be sent to Portsmouth Crown Court.
