MAGISTRATES have fined a man for possessing cannabis.

Christopher Harris pleaded guilty to having an undisclosed quantity of the class B drug on him in Havant on September 11.

Harris, from Middle Park Way, Havant, was fined £35 by Fareham magistrates.

The 51-year-old was ordered to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £40 in court costs.

Magistrates also made an order for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
