Trial date for ex-Southampton football coach accused of abuse

AN 83-year-old man was attacked while out on a walk with his wife in Havant.

The victim was walking along Dunsbury Way towards Middle Park Way between 3pm and 3.20pm on Saturday when he was involved in an altercation with two men.

The pensioner was assaulted by one of the men and sustained minor injuries.

An appeal has now gone out for witnesses. The attacker was 6ft tall, stocky and had short brown hair like that of a scruffy mop. He wore a brown jacket.
