Havant shoplifter, 26, sentenced to 14 days in jail

THIEF Matthew Parvin has been given a suspended sentence.

Parvin, 26, of Priorsdean Crescent, Havant, admitted stealing £68.84 of goods from a Tesco store in Havant on January 16.

He pleaded guilty to stealing goods from Sports Direct in Selbourne Road, Havant, on the same day.

Parvin admitted committing both crimes while subject to two community orders.

He was given a 14-day suspended sentence and put under supervision for six months by Portsmouth magistrates.
