A VANDAL who graffitied a shop is being hunted by police.

The hooded man spray-painted offensive language on the outside of the Danny Mart, at the corner of Ludlow Road and Blakemere Crescent in Paulsgrove, at about 10.40pm on February 10.

The attack was caught on CCTV camera, but the vandal’s face was covered and police have not yet released the images.

It is the fourth separate incident of criminal damage reported by the Danny Mart in the last two weeks, including damage to the store itself and to a vehicle that was parked nearby.

PC Patrick Collins from the Paulsgrove Safer Neighbourhoods team said: ‘The Danny Mart is in a residential area.

‘We believe that somebody in the local community could have knowledge of who is responsible for committing these offences. All responses will be treated in total confidence.’

Call PC Collins at Cosham station on 101, or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
