A BURGLAR broke into a Gosport home while the victim was asleep and stole expensive equipment.

The thief got in through an unlocked door at the property in Charlotte Drive, Priddy’s Hard. They then stole a 32-inch Panasonic television, an Apple IPod Classic, a Nokia mobile phone, a Samsung notebook and a handbag.

Police say the burglary took place between 11pm on Thursday and 7am on Friday.

PC Matt Morgan said: ‘I would appeal for anyone who has information about this incident to contact the police.

‘’I’d also like to advise homeowners to double check that their windows and doors are locked and the keys have been removed even if only popping out for a few minutes, sleeping upstairs in the house or enjoying the sun in the back garden.’ Call police on 101.
