THIEVES who stole laptops after getting into a house through an unlocked door are being hunted by police.

The crooks entered the property in Moorland Road, Kingston, Portsmouth, and fled with an Apple Macbook Pro and Packard Bell Easy Notebook.

Det Con Chris Dinenage, who is investigating the burglary, said: ‘Most burglars are opportunists; I would urge residents of Portsmouth to ensure they lock all doors and windows before leaving their homes.

‘We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or saw anything suspicious in the area during this time.’

The burglary happened between 2pm and 7pm on Friday. Details have just been released by police.
