THESE two men are wanted for stealing lead from a train station roof.
The thieves struck at Rowlands Castle while the station was being renovated.
They were caught on camera taking lead from the roof, then later returning in a car to remove their haul.
Now police have released these images in a bid to trace the suspects.
Detective Constable Tony Bronger, from the British Transport Police, said: ‘The CCTV images are very good and I am confident someone will recognise them.
‘The car they used to take the lead from the station was either a Citroën Saxo or a Peugeot 106 and had low-profile alloy wheels.
If you recognise either of the men, we’d like to hear from you.’
Police have stepped up patrols in the area following the theft, which happened overnight on May 27.
Det Con Bronger added: ‘We’ve increased our patrols, both during the day and at night, to catch and deter metal thieves in Hampshire and work closely with Hampshire Constabulary to gather intelligence on suspects.’
