MORE than 20 cars were broken into by vandals, police have revealed.

Suspects smashed car windows to get into them overnight on Tuesday to yesterday. Seven vehicles were broken into in Wimpole Street, Landport.

Other roads targeted were Foster Road and Timpson Road in Landport and New Road, Shearer Road and Hampshire Street in Fratton. Only one theft has been reported, with £4 in cash stolen. Police have been in the area visiting victims. Call police on 101 quoting 44160422932.
