n Tracy Grice, 44, of Redlands Lane, Fareham, admitted stealing perfume and handbags worth £464 and was fined £120. She must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £45 prosecution costs.

n Malcolm Lewis, 59, of Montagu Close, Gosport, admitted drink-driving and was banned for 16 months with a £200 fine. A test showed he had 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit.

He must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Casey Wilson, 32, of Clive Road, Kingston, admitted stealing a pair of trainers worth £55. He was jailed for 28 days.

n Thomas Gill, 35, of Seymour Close, Buckland, admitted stealing baby clothes worth £200. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Lee Hooper, 33, of Ludlow Road, Paulsgrove, admitted racially-aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

He was fined £120 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Hooper also admitted failing to surrender to custody but received no separate penalty.

n Jamie Herbert, 25, of Milton Road, Milton, admitted theft from Waterstones. He was fined £75 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Stuart Schneider, 32, of White Lion Walk, Gosport, admitted an assault by beating. He was jailed for six weeks and must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £60 prosecution costs.

A restraining order imposed bans him from contacting the victim for two years.

n Benjamin Finley, 28, of Hilton Road, Gosport, admitted two counts of assault by beating and criminal damage to a laptop and table. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge.

Finley admitted breaching a conditional discharge but no action was taken on this.

n John Walker, 39, of Waverley Road, Southsea, admitted stealing a bike and criminal damage to a gear cable of a bike. He must pay £160 compensation and £85 prosecution costs.

n Ronald Wall, 36, of Lords Street, Landport, admitted possessing herbal cannabis, a class B drug. He was fined £80 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Wall also admitted failing to surrender to custody and was fined £120.

n Jack MacKechnie, 19, of Witherbed Lane, Titchfield, admitted criminal damage to a curtain rail and door, and an assault by beating.

He was given an 18-month conditional discharge by magistrates and he must pay £100 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
