n Lee Winfield, 35, of Victoria Road North, Southsea, was handed a six-month prison sentence suspended for a year.

He admitted possession of a bladed article, a knife, in Somers Road on April 7.

Winfield also admitted having an imitation firearm, a BB gun, in a public place.

And he also admitted fear or provocation of violence.

Magistrates imposed a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement, 20 days of rehabilitation activities and 12 months supervision.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Jake McElvenny, 24, of Madeira Road, North End, admitted assault by beating on December 31 last year.

Magistrates imposed a community order.

He must complete a 26-day Resolve programme.

McElvenny was fined £100 with a £60 victim surcharge and £200 prosecution costs to pay.

n Jason Emms, 45, of Turner Avenue, Gosport, was found guilty of drug-driving.

He had cannabis in his blood and was fined £180 and banned from driving for 12 months.

Emms was also found guilty of driving while unfit through drugs.

No separate penalty was imposed.

Both offences were committed on December 9 last year in Brookside, Gosport.

He must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £100 prosecution costs.

n Mark Pfaff, 49, of Cottage Grove, Southsea, admitted assault by beating against a woman on April 18 in Southsea.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 25 days of rehabilitation activities and 150 hours unpaid work.

He must pay £700 compensation.

n John Waterman, 47, of no fixed address, admitted criminal damage to three large windows at Iceland in London Road, North End, on July 13.

He admitted breaching conditional discharges for criminal damage and causing fear of violence or provoking violence.

Magistrates sentenced him to 12 weeks concurrent for each offence.

Waterman must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 compensation.

His guilty plea was taken into account he was sentenced.
