AN inquest has been opened into the death of a former Chichester mum-of-five who was murdered.

The coroner opened and adjourned the inquest following the killing of Pennie Davis, who was stabbed 13 times while tending her horse in Beaulieu on September 2.

Mrs Davis, 47, had recently moved to the New Forest and had previously worked at Tesco in Fishbourne. Justin Robertson, 36, of no fixed abode, has appeared in court charged with her murder.
