Police have made a new appeal for help in tracing sex offender Stephen Munden after more than 100 reported sightings.
They include claims that he has been seen in the Fareham area.
E-mails have been sent to parents of Ranvilles Junior School, on Oldbury Way, in Fareham, after one claimed they saw missing sex offender Stephen Munden.
Police have revealed that they have have had more than 100 sightings of Munden, who is missing from Winchfield Hospital, near Hook.
Chief Inspector Annabel Berry said that all were being investigated. She urged anyone seeing Munden to call 999 immediately or, if they were reporting an earlier sighting, to contact police on 101.
An investigation is being carried out into how Munden got out of the hospital at around 6.15pm on Tuesday.
He is described as about 5ft 8ins tall, of a heavy build, and has dark hair. He did have a full beard, but it is believed he may have shaved it off before leaving the hospital.
Munden was detained at the facility under a hospital order after being sentenced for sexual offences in 2014.
These were possessing, making, and attempting to make indecent images of children and sexual assault on a child under 13.
