SHOPLIFTER Jamie Sibley has been jailed.

Sibley, 32, of Maynard Close, Gosport, admitted stealing meat worth £87 from a Co-op store in Gregson Avenue, Gosport, on October 7.

He also pleaded guilty to stealing loom bands, a jacket and a baseball cap worth £121 from Matalan in Wellington Retial Park, Hambledon Road, Waterlooville, on October 17.

Sibley was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was ordered to pay £80 to a fund for victims of crime.
