POLICE are hoping to reunite some jewellery with its owners.

A brooch and a ladies’ wristwatch were found during a search of a property yesterday in Kitwood Green, West Leigh, Havant.

Police believe they may have been stolen during a burglary or robbery.

They are appealing for anyone who believes the items may belong to them to come forward, reclaim their lost goods and potentially help police with the investigation.

The brooch is silver or metal in the shape of a sword with a stag head and a purple stone. The Accurist watch is a gold colour, with a diamond at the 12 o’clock position.

No arrests have been made.

PC Kerry Lewis said: ‘We do not know where these items have come from, so they may or may not be stolen.

‘We would ask members of the public to come forward if they believe the items belong to them.’

Anyone with information should contact PC Kerry Lewis at Havant police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
