MEMBERS of the public are being asked to help monitor police work.

Hampshire police wants people to be on its Independent Advisory Group.

It is designed to hold police to account on daily policing, including in stop and search.

Anyone on the IAG would have the opportunity to go on a ride-along with police.

It is open to people aged between 16 and 25. The group meets once a month. Police are keen to hear from people in diverse communities.
