A LAPTOP containing records and personal details of patients has been stolen from a chiropody surgery.
The black Zoostorm laptop was snatched from the clinic on Stoke Road, Gosport, around 1.30pm on Tuesday.
One staff member had noticed a man in his 20s hanging around outside the surgery shortly before the theft.
He was wearing a luminous yellow jacket with a green triangle shape on the back.
Natasha Townsend, the surgery’s podiatrist, said: ‘It makes me so angry that people can do something like that.
‘Now people’s personal details from years back and my records, including my financial accounts, are out in the public.
‘Whoever took it probably doesn’t even realise how important what they’ve got is.
‘There must be someone who saw this man – there is a bus stop right opposite the surgery.’
Anyone with information should contact police on 0845 045 4545.
