THE deadline is looming for local projects to apply for grants of up to £5,000 awarded by Hampshire’s police and crime commissioner.

Simon Hayes is inviting applicants to bid for a share of £34,200 from his Protecting People and Places fund for projects which help reduce crime and support the priorities in his Police and Crime Plan.

The deadline for applications is noon on Monday.
