A MINIBUS belonging to Locks Heath Pumas rugby club was stolen and burnt.
The vehicle was taken last night while the team played its final pre-season game against Havant at their home ground.
Inside the minibus was around £2,000 worth of kit including shirts and rugby balls.
The minibus was found by police in the early hours of this morning in Stubbington after being set on fire.
The club, based at Abshot Community Centre, used the minibus for their teams to travel to away fixtures including this Saturday’s cup game against the Old Georgians in Surrey.
