GOLF clubs worth £4,500 were stolen by thieves.

Burglars broke into a garage in Oaklands Road, Havant, and stole the high-value haul.

Police community support officer Amy Shipp said: ‘Please ensure that high value items are kept locked and secure, they can be further protected by locking them up inside the outbuilding.

‘Also consider security marking your property with postcodes or using “Smart Water”.’

Police say the break-in happened between 5.30pm last Saturday and 9am on Sunday.

The clubs include Callaway Great Big Bertha II drivers, Cobra SS irons, a Hot Spot driver, an Odyssey driver and a Power Caddy gold caddy.

Anyone with information about the theft can call Havant police on 101.
