A MAN has been jailed for using a fake prescription in a bid to get drugs from a pharmacy.

John Harrison, 30, committed the offence at City Pharmacy in London Road, North End, Portsmouth.

He also admitted being in possession of 1.5g of synthetic cannabis.

Harrison, of Thorndike Road, Southampton, was sentenced to 14 days in jail at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court. The synthetic cannabis is to be destroyed.
