Police offer reward for arrest of former Portsmouth resident after £12 million heroin supply trial

A MAN caught producing cannabis has been given a conditional discharge.

Andrew Newbery, 50, of Northern Parade, Portsmouth, admitted possessing the class B drug ant his home.

He admitted a second charge of producing cannabis at the property on December 23.

Newbery was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

An order was made for the drugs to be destroyed.
