DRINK-DRIVER Jamie Deavin has been banned from the roads.

He admitted driving a VW Passat at Portchester Heights in Portchester after drinking too much on October 16.

A test revealed his breath contained 50 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Deavin, 35, of Dominie Walk, Lee-on-the-Solent, was banned from driving for a year and told to pay £265 by Fareham magistrates.
