SHOPLIFTER Colin Smith has been given a conditional discharge.

The 25-year-old, of Privett Road, Fareham, admitted stealing three gammon joints from the Sainsbury’s store in Fareham.

He also admitted failing to surrender to bail.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs by Fareham magistrates.
