A 26-YEAR-OLD man caught driving while banned has been spared jail.

Marcin Zaluski, of Hythe Road, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offence on the M27 at Fareham.

He was given an eight-week suspended sentence and put under supervision by Fareham magistrates. He was told to pay £85 cost and an £80 victim surcharge and must take part in a course.
