TWO girls have been approached by a man in Portsmouth in two separate incidents.

Police are investigating following the incidents in Kingston Road yesterday evening. Both incidents occurred between 5pm and 7pm.

An 11-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were approached by a man who tried to engage them in conversation. Both girls refused and walked away before reporting it to police.

The man is described as white, aged between 40 and 50, around 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall with scruffy brown and grey hair. He was wearing a dark coloured top and bottoms. Call CID at Fratton police station on 101.
