POLICE made an arrest after a man was found lying on the floor of a pub with a head wound.

Detectives have questioned a 23-year-old man from Bognor following a fight at the William Hardwicke Pub, in High Street, Bognor.

Police and paramedics were called to the pub at 11.55pm on Saturday to reports of a 33-year-old man lying on the floor with a head injury.

The victim needed hospital treatment and has since been discharged.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
