A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of robbing a bank.

Hampshire police said a man was seen with a knife at Lloyds Bank in London Road, North End, Portsmouth, at about 12.30pm.

A 27-year-old man from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

No cash was taken, The News understands.
