Police offer reward for arrest of former Portsmouth resident after £12 million heroin supply trial

A MAN has been arrested after a serious assault in Titchfield.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened in the graveyard of St Peter’s Church in Southampton Hill, Titchfield on Thursday, March 10.

Between 3pm and 5pm an altercation took place between two men during which a 45-year-old man was assaulted.

The assault resulted in injuries, including a fractured cheekbone, broken arm and cuts to the head and face.

The victim had to be treated at Queen Alexandra hospital, Cosham, Portsmouth. A 39-year-old man from Fareham has been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH and is on police bail until May 16.

Det Con Chris Davies said: ‘We would ask that if you were in the area at the time and witnessed this altercation, you should come forward as you may have important information that could assist our inquiry.’
