A MAN has been bailed after being arrested in connection with the theft of a dog.

The 34-year-old, from Waterlooville, was questioned after Misty, a 12-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was found dead in a wheelie bin at Wellington Retail Park, Waterlooville. Police arrested a man in connection with the theft of a dog from Blossom Drive, Waterlooville, and he was bailed until September, pending further inquiries.
