A MAN arrested following a large fire at a block of flats has been bailed by police.

Officers questioned a 43-year-old man on suspicion of arson following the blaze in Oak Park Drive, Havant.

As reported, quick-thinking residents led their neighbours to safety after the fire broke out in a first-floor flat.

Neighbours were evacuated when the blaze started at about 11pm on Tuesday.

The man, from Portsmouth, was bailed until October 8, pending further inquiries.
