A MAN has been charged after a cannabis factory was found in Southsea.

Officers discovered that the drug was being cultivated at the house in Stone Street, Southsea.

Richard Cohman, 29, of Stone Street, has been charged with producing cannabis and criminal damage.

He was bailed to appear before Portsmouth magistrates on December 7.

Police say the charge follows ongoing action by the St. Thomas Safer Neighbourhoods team in response to information from the community.

Officers from the Portsmouth Central policing unit posted a picture, above, of seized items.
