Probe after three young girls ‘abused’

A MAN accused of stealing from a 12-year-old girl in Southsea has been charged by police this evening.

Ian Linnane, 30, of Sandringham Road, Portsmouth, is accused of robbing the girl of £20 in cash and a bank card outside a Southern Co-operative store in St. James’s Road on the evening of Saturday, June 22, 2013.

Mr Linnane will remain in police custody over the weekend, and is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday, July 1, 2013.
