A MAN has denied forcing his way into a 64-year-old woman’s home and sexually assaulting her.
Gregory Perkins is alleged to have got into the woman’s home in Emsworth and assaulted her.
The 25-year-old denies the charge.
It is alleged that the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, managed to fight her attacker off before raising the alarm on December 3.
The prosecution say her attacker then fled the scene.
Perkins, formerly of Emsworth but now of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual assault when he appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court.
He has been remanded in custody to stand trial later this month.
