MAGISTRATES have fined a motorist – for failing to clear his windscreen.

Michael Rees was charged with driving without due care and attention after the incident in Mill Road, Fareham.

Rees, 20, of Alexander Grove, Fareham, admitted the offence – imposed because he failed to clear the windscreen of his Vauxhall Corsa before driving it on October 21 last year.

Fareham magistrates were told his view was obscured. Rees was told to pay £150 in a fine and costs. Five points were added to his driving licence.
