Police are hunting a hooded man who exposed himself in a Havant cemetery

The man fled when he was challenged by a passer-by in the graveyard in Eastern Road on Tuesday.

Police issued an e-fit of the offender. They said the incident was not being linked to a report of indecent exposure in Purbrook on Monday.

The man is white, 6ft, in his 20s or early 30s and well built. He was wearing a plain blue navy hoodie with the hood up, black trousers and black wrap around sunglasses. He did not approach anyone and ran away when challenged at around 3.15pm.

Detective Constable Kirsty Burridge said: “This incident is not being linked to a separate report of indecent exposure in Purbrook Way on Monday, May 18. This appears to be isolated and at no time did the man approach anyone. When challenged he ran away.

“The local Neighbourhood Policing Team has been conducting additional patrols in the area and been in contact with a nearby school.

“We are appealing to anyone who may be able to identify the offender to call 101.”
