A MAN accused of going into a house and confronting a woman in the shower has appeared in court.

Radostin Chernev is alleged to have gone into the house in Boulton Road, Southsea, at about 3.20pm on Tuesday, February 7, while a student was in the shower.

Chernev, 27, of Furze Lane, Milton, did not enter a plea to a charge of trespassing with intent to commit a sexual offence when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was remanded in custody until the end of the month when his case will be sent to Portsmouth Crown Court.
