A MAN has appeared in court accused of smashing up a Southsea restaurant.

Ortenc Shuteriqi is alleged to have caused nearly £1,000 worth of damage at Relentless Steak and Lobster House in Elm Grove.

The 34-year-old is said to have damaged 11 chairs and a table on January 13.

Shuteriqi, of Elm Grove, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court charged with criminal damage.

He entered a not guilty plea during the brief hearing. Shuteriqi was released on bail for a trial in March.
