AN IMMIGRATION team detained a man in a raid on an Indian restaurant.

Home Office Immigration Enforcement officers targeted Kuti’s in Fareham Road, Wickham.

A 31-year-old Bangladeshi man who had entered the country illegally was arrested and as detained pending removal from the country.

Mahim Uddin, owner of Kuti’s, said: ‘He was one of our staff’s friend who had come in for a visit.
