A DRIVER whose car crashed into a cyclist has been fined.

Ian Steer drove a Vauxhall Corsa that hit a cyclist in Pier Road, Southsea.

Steer, of Southfield Walk, Havant, admitted driving without due care and attention.

The 57-year-old was fined £230.

He was ordered to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £35 costs to Hampshire Police Authority.

Three penalty points were added to his driving licence by Fareham magistrates.
