MAGISTRATES have fined a man for allowing cannabis to be produced at his home.

Michael Wright, 54, pleaded guilty to committing the crime at Wingfield Street, Buckland, Portsmouth.

He admitted breaching a suspended sentence imposed for two counts of burglary and five of handling stolen goods.

Wright was fined £110 and told to pay £105 costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

An order was made for the class B cannabis plants to be forfeited and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs act 1971.
