A 39-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin.

Officers arrested him at 8.40am on Tuesday at an address in Halstead Road, Cosham, Portsmouth, after a drugs warrant was issued.

Several items were seized for analysis as potential evidence.

The suspect was taken to Portsmouth Central Police Station where he was questioned and bailed until September 21 pending further enquiries.
