POLICE have charged a man with a burglary at a house in Southsea.

Matthew Webb, 36, is alleged to have broken into a home in Cromwell Road and stolen a £1,200 television on July 21.

Webb, of St George’s Road, Southsea, did not enter a plea when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was bailed to appear back before the magistrates in September.
