THREE teenagers robbed a 21-year-old man of cash and a mobile phone in a late-night attack.

The victim was walking in an alleyway that runs parallel to the south of Winston Churchill Avenue in Portsmouth, near River’s Street, when he was assaulted.

The three teenagers approached him, knocked the victim to the ground and stole his wallet which contained £5 in cash.

They also fled with his mobile phone at about 1am on Sunday.

The robbers are all described as white, and aged between 16 and 19.

They were all wearing tracksuits.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises to his arms and legs in the attack.
