A TEENAGER has been charged after police seized a stash of heroin and £2,000 in cash from a flat.

Officers raided the property in Alhambra Road, Southsea, on June 16.

Sean Gerrish has been charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and possession of criminal property.

The 19-year-old, from The Elms, in Liverpool, did not enter a plea to the two charges when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrates ruled the case should be heard at the crown court.

Gerrish was remanded in custody to return to court on July 21 when the case will be sent to Portsmouth Crown Court.
