PORTSMOUTH magistrates have fined a man for using threatening behaviour towards two police officers at a nightspot.

John Scullion pleaded guilty to committing the crime in Guildhall Walk, Portsmouth, on April 22.

The 27-year-old, from South Broomhill, Northumberland, was fined £150 and told to pay £85 in court by magistrates.

Scullion must also pay £15 into a fund for crime victims.
