The victim, from Fareham, was approached in Highlands Road, Fareham, who asked him for a lighter.

As he attempted to look one of the men demanded money and took his wallet containing £70 cash from him between 10.50pm and 11.10pm on Sunday.

One suspect is white, aged 24 or 25, with short, dark hair, a stocky build and 5ft 6in tall.

The second man is black, aged in his late 20s and of a skinny build with light, braided blond hair in a ponytail and a gaunt face.

Detective Constable Sarah Ridler said: ‘This is a rare occurrence in this area. Were you walking or driving in the area of Highlands Road around the time of the incident and saw any suspicious activity or the offenders?’
