POLICE are hunting an attacker who broke a man’s jaw in two places.

The 26-year-old victim was subjected to an unprovoked attack inside the Fuzzy Duck, in Guildhall Walk, Portsmouth.

He was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.

The attack took place at about 12.45am on Friday.

Detective Constable Ann Keir, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who was in the venue at the time of the incident, who witnessed this unprovoked attack.

‘I would also like to speak to anyone who has any information about who may be responsible.

‘Did anyone you know return home with injuries to their hands or blood on their clothing, that you suspect may have been involved in a fight?

‘I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch as soon as possible, and help us with our investigation.’
