Man struck by bus is named by police

A PEDESTRIAN who died after he was hit by a bus has been named by police.

He was Peter Chatwin, 35, of Albert Road, Bognor.

Mr Chatwin suffered serious head injuries when he collided with the Stagecoach bus in the road at Canada Grove, Bognor, just before 4.30pm on November 21.

He was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital but died there later the same evening.

Floral tributes have been left by a tree at the scene of the tragedy.
