STAFF at a newsagents were threatened at knifepoint during a robbery.

The male offender entered to Oasis News shop, in Church Street, Landport, armed with two knives.

He demanded tobacco and left without harming staff after they threw him a packet from behind the counter.

The man was described as average build, about 5ft 7ins tall, and was wearing a dark coloured jacket with the hood up.

This incident happened on Thursday, May 30, at 9pm.
